The launch of a new exclusive distribution for southern Chile took place in Osorno: Limagrain silage corn seeds (LG), The event was attended by producers, technical advisors, specialists and executives of Anasac and its distributors.
Gabriel Ormeño, general manager of Anasac, noted: «Anasac, with more than 72 years supporting national agriculture, has always sought to offer effective solutions and improve the competitiveness of the sector. Today, in Osorno, we are introducing the new Limagrain (LG) genetics, with ultra-early silage designed for southern Chile».
Juan Antonio Bombal, Anasac's Veterinary and Seeds Manager, added: «This new line of Limagrain silage corn from France represents the best genetics in the world, now available thanks to Anasac in Chile. This is an important milestone for the country's dairy production, supported by a team of specialists in agronomy and veterinary nutrition.».
Bombal also noted that the upcoming season will feature new hybrids and assured: «We will be present in their fields, offering differentiated support.».
Regarding the characteristics of the LG maize offered this year, Maike Uslar, technical manager, emphasized that early, intermediate and long hybrids are distinguished mainly by their quality, fiber digestibility and starch content.
