Our History

We are a Chilean Company with a highly specialized regional presence.

Founded in 1948 as a Chilean company linked to agricultural activity, today, we are more than 1,500 people, working as a great team, committed to the development of both agriculture and the different industries we work with in Chile and Latin America. At ANASAC, we work with quality in mind, which is reflected in our products, in the solutions we deliver to our customers, and in the way we do things. 

DIVERSIFICATION

  • 1948 – Created by the National Society of Agriculture (SNA).
  • 1977 – The Sahli & Tassara Group buys ANASAC from SNA and Empresa Nacional de Semillas (ENDS) from the State.
  • 1982 – ANASAC is acquired by the current controlling family of the company.

PHYTOSANITARY FORMULATIONS

  • 1985 – Phytosanitary formulations begin (San Nicolas formulation plant, Chile).
  • 1990 – Launching in Latin American markets ( Phytosanitary Expansion).

EXPANSION

  • 1994 – Acquisition of Hortus, an agricultural solutions company in Peru.
  • 1996 – Acquisition of Gleba, an agro-inputs supplier in Argentina.
  • 1997 – Hortus opens its first branches across the country.

MODERNIZATION

  • 2003 – New Phytosanitary Products plant in Lampa, Chile.
  • 2006 – New Seeds plant in Lautaro, Chile.
  • 2007 – New Mineral Salts plant in Lautaro, Chile.

ORGANIZATIONAL STRUCTURE

  • 2008 – Acquisition of Servimaule (today Servimak) a company specialized in agricultural mechanization in Chile
  • 2009 – Creation of the ANASAC group’s structure.
  • 2009 – Creation of the Subsidiary Anasac Ambiental.
  • 2010 – Creation of the Subsidiary Anasac Colombia.
  • 2010 – Acquisition of Difem Pharma (today Difem Laboratorios), a company dedicated to hospital, industrial and mass consumption Hygiene & Disinfection in Chile.
  • 2011 – Acquisition of Xilema, a company specialized in biological pest control in Chile.

DIVERSIFICATION

  • 2013 – Joint Venture and acquisition of a phytosanitary formulation plant in Longyou, China.
  • 2014 – New Seed plant in Requinoa, Chile.
  • 2016 – New Difem Laboratorios Pharma plant in La Reina, Chile.
  • 2017 – New Crop Protection Plant in Longyou, China.

ORGANIZATIONAL STRUCTURE

  • 2019 – New Plant Welfare and Biopesticides plant in Lampa, Chile.
  • 2022 – Creation of the Subsidiary, Anasac Mexico.
