“Activate your CarBONO” Program

This innovative program represents a qualitative leap in ANASAC's climate ambition. Developed in collaboration with a US environmental technology company, it seeks generate and validate carbon credits from sustainable agricultural practices.

What does it consist of?

• It initially applies to producers in the central-southern region of Chile.
• Encourages practices such as Crop rotation, soil conservation, use of biorational products and input efficiency.
• Through a digital platform, the emissions reductions achieved by farmers are measured, reported, and verified (MRV).

 Why is it relevant?

• Allows ANASAC and its clients offset carbon footprints.
• Generate economic value for participating farmers.
• Opens opportunities for scale towards international carbon markets
