The past friday, december 5 the project was closed “Creating my Vegetable Business”.” in the Ernesto Müller López Educational Complex, of the municipality of Talagante, This included the final presentation of the projects and the selection of a winning team.
The initiative was developed as pilot project within the line of action Strengthening the Chilean countryside, The project, promoted by the area of Sustainability of ANASAC, and was aimed at delivering technical, productive and entrepreneurial tools in the vegetable sector. to students from 3rd grade, strengthening its link with the agricultural world.
During the day, the two participating courses presented their agribusiness proposals to a jury composed of representatives of the following companies SNA Educates, of the educational institution and of ANASAC. The students presented real production models, technical results and commercial projections, demonstrating a high level of preparation, commitment and applied learning.
The activity began with words of welcome from Bernardita Contesse, head of Sustainability of ANASAC, and Claudia Pinochet, The project's educational value and the commitment of all the teams involved were highlighted by the school's director, who emphasized the educational value of the project and the commitment of all the teams involved.

After a careful and demanding round of submissions, the jury selected as winning team to the students:
Valery Preciado, Alejandra Carreño, Almendra Estolaza, Isidora Quezada, Isadora González, Adriana Álvarez, María Fernández and Anaís Espinoza.
His project consisted of the basil production under greenhouse, using vertical tower systems, a proposal aimed at optimizing the use of productive space y improving water and nutritional efficiency, with a focus on obtaining a high quality product for local and specialized markets. The initiative stood out for its technical soundness and economic projection.
As recognition, the winning project will be implemented at the facility during the year 2026, This initiative will continue to contribute to the practical learning of the students.
In addition to making visible the work done, the project seeks to to strengthen young people's interest in the world of agriculture, to promote the continuity of studies in this field and help new generations to look at the countryside as a space for development, innovation and future.
