Viña San Pedro - Anasac Alliance: Strengthening Sustainable Development in La Araucanía

At Anasac, the Sustainability area plays a fundamental role in the different territories in which we operate. As committed neighbors, we work to promote the integral development of local communities, generating a positive impact and improving the quality of life of their inhabitants.

In La Araucanía, our commitment to the community is materialized through our Sustainability Strategy, specifically under the pillar of community relations. In this region, we implemented a Socio-Productive Incubator model, which allows us to work in a constant and dedicated manner to promote the integral development of the area. Through this model, we have developed projects that have facilitated the insertion of small-scale agriculture in formal and consolidated markets, providing new opportunities for local producers.

We are proud to be part of Viña San Pedro Tarapacá's wine project (VSPT), which is being carried out in the community of Buchahueico, commune of Purén, in La Araucanía. This collaboration demonstrates that the union of efforts between different actors is key for the sustainable development of this and other territories throughout the country.

We would like to wish the Buchahueico growers the greatest success with the fruits of their vineyards. We also extend our fraternal greetings to our friends at Viña San Pedro Tarapacá, with whom we share the commitment to promote a more sustainable future.

Below, we share the reflections of Juan Pablo Fadic, head of Sustainability at Viña San Pedro Tarapacá, and Bernardita Contesse, head of Sustainability at Anasac.
