As part of our commitment to sustainability and environmental education, ANASAC carried out a new day of the project of educational gardens in collaboration with the NAIM Corporation in the city of Curicó.
This initiative, which began in 2024, seeks to introduce children between 6 and 12 years of age to horticulture through a format playful and interactive. The objective is to give them a practical understanding of the importance of caring for the environment, growing food and respecting nature.
Participation of ANASAC specialists
On this occasion, the Agronomist Engineer Macarena Devlahovic, The children, ANASAC's technical chief in the VI Region, shared his knowledge of horticulture with the children, transmitting sustainable cultivation techniques in a simple and close way.
During the day held on Monday, September 29th, Macarena led the workshop “Seedlings + soil insect curios + manual weed control.”, where students experienced the germination process with their own hands and learned environmentally friendly agricultural management practices.
A commitment to the community
These types of instances reinforce ANASAC's role as an ally of the communities in the promotion of sustainability and environmental education. Through the connection between our professionals and the children, we seek to sowing ecological awareness and sustainable habits since childhood.
This activity is in addition to other work sessions held together with the NAIM Corporation, which you can review in the previously published note.
