ZANADOR® 60.8 SC is a dual-action systemic and contact fungicide, both preventive and curative. It is a fungicide for foliar applications, possessing antisporulant activity, translaminar activity, and local systemicity. Chlorothalonil prevents the fungus from obtaining the energy it needs for its vital processes. It acts by contact with fungal spores before germination, preventing their penetration into cells. Once inside, Dimetomorph moves efficiently via diffusion within the leaf, significantly reducing the potential for the infection to spread by possessing antisporulant action, generating a protective effect.
