CONTRINO® 5 SG is a selective insecticide that acts primarily through ingestion and also through contact. It interrupts nerve impulses in larvae. After ingesting or coming into contact with the product, the larvae are immediately paralyzed, stop feeding, and die of starvation, preventing crop damage. It should be applied to foliar crops as it has translaminar movement via the leaf cuticle.
