SURANO® 50 SC is a fungicide based on two active ingredients, one of which is pyrimethanil, a member of the anilinopyrimidine group that exhibits significant translaminar activity. It works by preventing the extension of the germ tube, thereby halting its penetration into the host's epidermal cells. It also contains a triazole (difenoconazole), which inhibits the synthesis of ergosterol, a component of fungal cell membranes, which inhibits germ tube development and mycelial growth.
