MAGNETO® 45 SC is an insecticide that mixes two molecules: Fipronil and Imidacloprid. Fipronil from the phenyl-pyrazole group, a broad-spectrum insecticide that disrupts the insect's central nervous system by blocking the passage of chloride ions through the GABA receptor, which produces hyperexcitation of the insect's muscles and nerves, acting mainly by contact. Imidacloprid is a neonicotinoid that inhibits nicotinic receptors in the nervous system, mainly with systemic action with a high protective effect on the plant, controlling biting and sucking insects. Both components make it a very efficient product for pest resistance management, providing an anti-resistance strategy in pest control.
