LEGEND® 40 SC is a selective herbicide recommended for the post-emergence control of broadleaf, grass, and sedge weeds in rice crops. LEGEND 40 SC inhibits the enzyme acetyl lactate synthase, which is essential for amino acid production, causing growth arrest, chlorosis, and weed death. Initially, treated plants become chlorotic at the growing points. Weeds die 1–2 weeks after herbicide application.
