CONTRINO® 5 SG is a selective insecticide that acts primarily through ingestion and contact. It interrupts nerve impulses in larvae. After ingestion or contact with the product, larvae are immediately paralyzed, stop feeding, and die of starvation. Maximum mortality is reached 3-4 days after application, thus avoiding crop damage. It must be applied to foliar crops, as it has a translaminar effect via the leaf cuticle.
