ANASAC BABEL 40 SC is a selective herbicide recommended for post-emergence control of broadleaf weeds, grasses, and sedges in rice crops. BABEL inhibits the enzyme acetolactate synthase, which is essential for amino acid production, causing growth inhibition, chlorosis, and weed death. Initially, treated plants become chlorotic at their growing points, and weeds die within 1–2 weeks after application.
