Pyriproxyfen, from the juvenile hormone inhibitor group, is a contact and translaminar insecticide that acts as a growth regulator. It is an analog of the insect juvenile hormone, inhibiting metamorphosis, with ovicidal effects and the ability to affect the reproduction of treated females. Acetamiprid is a neonicotinoid with systemic and ingestion action.
