It is most effective on small, actively growing weeds. METSUL\u00ae 50 WP inhibits the enzyme acetolactate synthase (ALS), a precursor of the branched-chain aliphatic amino acids valine, leucine, and isoleucine. Weeds become discolored or reddened 1 to 3 weeks after application.
